On February 11 of 2019, the Workshop “Carbon Capture and Conversion” was held at the Chemistry Department of FCT-NOVA, Caparica, Lisbon.
Planned within the framework of Project SunStorage (University of Porto, University of Coimbra, and NOVA University of Lisbon), the Workshop targeted the discussion of recent achievements in carbon dioxide capture and chemical/biological conversion technologies, as well as the dissemination of the latest scientific results achieved by all SunStorage participants. The meeting consisted of a series of 15-20 minutes oral presentations, followed by informal discussions. “Carbon Capture and Conversion” included the participation of Professor Angel Irabien, University of Cantabria, and Patrick Prunet, the director of Project Jupiter 1000, whose presentations captured the attention of all participants. At the end, a round table was held aiming at further discussing the carbon capture and conversion problematic.
We would like to thank the participation of all and wish you good luck in all future endeavors.
With kind regards,
